Adam Aron used this earnings call to reiterate to the shareholders and the world that AMC Ent. is BACK and stronger than ever. AMC Stock was said to be a stock headed to the ground, and an industry to closely follow before the retail investors “The Apes” truly saved the company and took the short sellers straight on last year. Those making dire negative predictions about the company’s survivability “gravely underestimated AMC,” Adam Aron says, and it’s a “simple matter of facts: They were wrong, they were wrong, they were wrong.”  The mainstream media was set on the narrative that the AMC, and the movie theater industry as a whole was set for doom as new streaming services were popping up all over in 2020.
